The new title also hints that Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes will be brought back to life as The Winter Soldier.
Joe Russo and Anthony Russo are directing the sequel, from a screenplay by Captain America: The First Avenger writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Shooting will commence after production wraps on Thor: The Dark World later this year.
Anthony Mackie can currently be seen in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. He also stars in Gangster Squad and Pain and Gain.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier comes to theaters April 4th, 2014 and stars Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Mackie. The film is directed by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo.
